The 9th eTRANSAFE Consortium Meeting was held by virtual means on June 3rd and 4th, 2020.
Close to 100 delegates of the eTRANSAFE consortium tuned in to participate in the two-day virtual meeting to discuss the project progress.
The meeting was organized in Opening and Closing Plenary sessions and in five Workshops around specific topics of interest.
The event opened on Wednesday, June 3rd with a welcome from the project Executive Committee. The session also included presentations on Text-mining annotation activities and Virtual Control Groups. The workshops on Data confidentiality & sharing and Progress in predictive modelling concluded the first day of the meeting.
The second day of the event was centered around the workshops on Preclinical terminology management, Progress in system development and Data donations for the clinical database. The Closing session summarized the key take-home messages of each workshop and next steps, including feedback from the eTRANSAFE SAB members.
