eTRANSAFE launches the Open Innovation Modelling Challenge

The eTRANSAFE Consortium is pleased to announce the launch of the Open Innovation Modelling Challenge!

The Challenge kicked off officially with the opening of the registration period on 30th of November 2021 and will run until 28th of February 2022.

13th eTRANSAFE Consortium Meeting

The 13th project Consortium Meeting took place as an online event on 18-19 October 2021

The 2-day event kicked off with a Hands-on DEMO of the eTRANSAFE system 'ToxHub' that is now progressing with great leaps through monthly releases. The aim of the session was to showcase the functionalities with regard to data retrieval, visualisation and interpretation to the close to 100 delegates joining the meeting and gather insights to advance towards the next steps in the development pipeline. The event continued with a status update delivered by members of the ten project work packages, and discussions on sustainability approaches.

eTRANSAFE participates in the NC3Rs 2021 CRACK IT Challenge

eTRANSAFE is proud to partner up with NC3Rs in their recently announced CRACK IT challenge for a virtual second species.

The aim of the Challenge is to apply advanced computational and mathematical modelling approaches to develop a suite of models that will ultimately replace the use of the dog in six to nine-month (chronic) toxicology studies for new drug development programs.

New Challenges and Progress During the 12th CM

Important advances of the eTRANSAFE project were shared during the 12th Consortium Meeting held from June 17 to 18, 2021. Over 2 days, the members of the project spoke about the work carried out since the last meeting with encouraging results.
